The Construction Begins

The permit is in and they have finally started on our house. Hooray! It's very exciting. Here is the first picture we took last Thursday.

This picture was taken yesterday, so you can see some concrete has been poured and some piles of dirt moved around.

We told Ryan that we were going to drive out to see our house, and he got very excited. And the following conversation took place between Melissa and Ryan:

M: Ryan we are going to go and see our house.
R: Is it done?
M: No, it won't be done for a little while.
R: Are they still constructing it?
M: Yes, they are.
R: Are they still learning how to do it?
M: Yes, they are.
R: Can we take my toys with us when it's ready?
M: Yes, of course.
R: Can we take our bathroom?
M: No, we're going to have a nice new bathroom in our house.
M: Ryan did you want to plant an orange tree in our backyard?
R: We're going to have a backyard?!?!
